A Note from Leadership - Greg Kelder, Divisional Senior Vice President, Head of Claims

Waste Management Riskopolis

The focus of this edition of the Environmental Insider is waste management. From legacy contamination to newly emerging concerns, companies that operate on or near a once functional waste management site can face an array of environmental exposures. Great American Environmental Division’s experienced underwriters, dedicated claims handling unit and technical support staff understand these environmental risks and appreciate the direct impact they can have on a company’s bottom line.

The articles provided in this edition will heighten your awareness of potential environmental exposures that can arise from proximity to on-site and off-site waste management facilities. Whether your client is the owner / operator of a manufacturing company, a solvent recycler, a recycling wastewater treatment plant, a construction / demolition waste landfill, or even the developer of a property near these operations – they are vulnerable to environmental risk.

Working with underwriting experts within Great American’s Environmental Division can help you to recognize, mitigate and protect against dangerous environmental risks that can adversely impact a client’s financial security. We offer a suite of environmental insurance products that can be customized to protect your clients from their specific and unique risks.
