Art Sieder Promoted

Art Sieder has been promoted to Divisional Vice President within Property & Inland Marine. Art has been the Inland Marine technical resource for the division for the past several years. In this role, he provides guidance on more complex exposures, develops underwriting tools and updates underwriting guidelines, coordinates several division specific reinsurance programs, drafts coverage forms, and provides analysis and insight on the overall book of business. Art will continue to work closely with operations with the focus on growing the division’s Inland Marine business. He is a trusted resource both within the company and outside with many industry relationships he has developed over his career.

Art began his career with Great American in 1987 as an Inland Marine Underwriter Trainee in Detroit. He has been part of the Property & Inland Marine Division his entire career holding various underwriting and leadership roles over that time. He became part of the Product Management team as Assistant Vice President in 2011 in the role of Inland Marine Product Manager. He also serves on the board of directors of the Inland Marine Underwriters Association (IMUA).

Art earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Xavier University. He also holds several insurance-related designations, including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) and Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA).
