Finding Opportunities with Program Business

Over the past several years, Great American’s Property & Inland Marine Division has focused on building the foundation needed to become a leader in the specialty program market. From developing the technology to hiring a team of experts, we have positioned ourselves to be able to write program business efficiently and easily with our agents.

We have invested in the tools needed to integrate with our agent’s systems to make policy quoting and issuing a seamless process. One of those tools is the development of multiple Application Programming Interface (API) options. We currently have API offerings for motor truck cargo, builder’s risk, and contractor’s equipment.

Not only is the process of integrating with our API’s easier than ever, but it also allows for real-time eligibility, rating, and form updates in an agents quote and issue system. These real-time updates reduce the ongoing expense traditionally tied to system integrations. Our roadmap will see the continued development of API’s around our core products and services.
