Great Americans Go ‘Over the Edge’ for a BIG Cause
Would you rappel 17 stories down the side of a building? Three brave Great Americans, including Property & Inland Marine’s Julie Kadnar, did just that for a BIG cause.
For the third year in a row, Great American sent employees Over the Edge to support Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Great Cincinnati. Julie Kadnar, Divisional President, Property & Inland Marine, and two other fellow Great American employees, rappelled down the side of the Westin Hotel in downtown Cincinnati, and raised over $10,600 to date to help the BBBS mission. The mission of BBBS is to pair adult volunteers (“Bigs”) with youth (“Littles”) who may benefit from positive adult role models.
Julie was the top fundraiser for this year’s campaign and expressed her gratitude for the work BBBS supports: “I admire all the Bigs out there who make a positive impact on the lives of so many Littles. To give your time for another is the truest form of servant leadership.”
