Theresa Winter is Retiring from Great American Insurance Group

It is bittersweet to formally announce that Theresa Winter will be retiring from Great American Insurance on May 12, 2023.

Theresa started at Great American Insurance Group nearly 32 years ago in our Accounting Department. She worked in various groups for 13 years, including commercial accounting, legal collection, and commercial audit. In 2004, she made a career move over to the production side and joined our Residential Construction team in Property & Inland Marine. Over the last 19 years, she has mastered the art of underwriting and built countless meaningful relationships with her agents and coworkers. Theresa is a teacher of her craft and has shared many “lessons” with us on how to write business. We would not be the group that we are today without her influence, determination, and passion.

Her retirement plans include camping with her husband, Dave, in their new RV, spending plenty of time gardening, and enjoying more time with her grandchildren, Morgan and Reagan.
