Great American Insurance Group is pledging a $250 donation to Cincinnati’s Go Red For Women movement each time throughout the 2018 season that the Reds score an “insurance run” at Great American Ball Park.
By definition, an “insurance run” is any additional runs scored by the Reds in the 6th through 8th innings of any home game where the Reds are in the lead. Each time an insurance run is scored, $250 will be pledged to the local Go Red For Women campaign.
Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association’s national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women. The fact is that, one of every three women will die from heart disease, yet less than 60 percent of women recognize heart disease as the No. 1 killer of women. The Cincinnati Go Red For Women movement is working to decrease those numbers. To learn more or get involved, visit cincinnatigored.heart.org.
In addition to supporting the Go Red for Women campaign with the insurance run, Great American Insurance Group has been a long-time corporate supporter of the American Heart Association’s Heart Mini Races and Walks.
The operations of Great American Insurance Group are engaged primarily in property and casualty insurance, focusing on specialty commercial products for businesses, and in the sale of traditional fixed and fixed-indexed annuities in the retail, financial institutions and education markets.
