Republic Indemnity

"From the moment I joined the Company, I knew this would be a unique and rewarding place to work."

I began my career as a claims trainee with Republic Indemnity and was immediately impressed with the tools and education I received to be successful in my career. I’ve had the opportunity to participate in an early career development program that has connected me to colleagues from different offices within the Company. These connections have helped me better understand our diverse business and how my role contributes to the overall success of the Company.

I enjoy coming to work each day because I can make a difference in an injured worker’s life. Republic specializes in Workers’ Compensation insurance so I’m able to help injured workers with their claims. Being fluent in Spanish and Korean has helped me to better communicate with our policyholders, which helps build trust and a relationship with them while giving them the best service possible.

The Company is committed to investing in employees, and it feels great to be able to give back, share the Company vision and make a contribution to the Company’s success.

"I am confident Great American supports my long-term financial well-being. The Company’s investment in my future demonstrates how much I am valued."

When I started with Great American as an intern 10 years ago, retirement was the last thing on my mind.

But after joining the Company full-time, I realized the importance of preparing for my future and the benefits of working for a company that provides me with the tools and education to do so. I am grateful the Company provides an impressive 401(k) retirement account benefit with a company match and discretionary contributions. I am confident Great American supports my long-term financial well-being. The Company’s investment in my future demonstrates how much I am valued.

"What I like about working at Great American is that I am able to incorporate my childhood passion as part of my profession in an industry that is so vital to the success of society."

While searching for a job during my senior year in college, I was intrigued by Great American Insurance Group's focus on niche markets.

I was specifically interested in the company’s agricultural-related divisions because of my passion for riding horses. I have been riding competitively since I was six years old and even secured an athletic scholarship to college to compete on my school’s equestrian team. Working in claims for Great American’s AgriBusiness® Division is a great fit for me because I use my interests and background to uncover facts and information that are essential in the decision making process. I also enjoyed being part of the LEAD (Learn/Excel/Achieve/Develop) Program, which gave me the opportunity to learn about all areas of the Agribusiness® Division, including processing, underwriting, claims and product development.

What I like about working at Great American is that I am able to incorporate my childhood passion as part of my profession in an industry that is so vital to the success of society. Insurance is needed in all aspects of life - from your car and home to your health and retirement. It is also essential in allowing businesses and individuals to prosper. I am proud that I am a small part of an industry making such a huge impact.
