Michael E. Chevrette Promoted to Divisional President of Great American Insurance Group

CINCINNATI — August 3, 2017 — Great American Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Michael E. Chevrette has been promoted to Divisional President of its Aviation Division. Mr. Chevrette joined Great American in 2014 as Divisional Senior Vice President of the Aviation Division. He has over 20 years of experience in the aviation insurance industry, previously serving as an Aviation Manager for Meadowbrook Insurance Group and working in various aviation underwriting roles with XL Capital and American International Group. Mr. Chevrette is also a former Air Traffic Control Specialist in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mr. Chevrette graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Aeronautics, and earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from St. John’s University. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Aviation Insurance Professional (CAIP), Associate in Reinsurance (Are) and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) professional designations.
