Victor has over 20 years of experience within the Financial Lines insurance sector in Hong Kong, undertaking roles mainly in management and insurance underwriting, as well as marketing, policy administration, customer service, claims handling and new product development. Prior to this, he was the Head of Financial & Professional Risks with QBE Hongkong & Shanghai Insurance, Ltd. in Hong Kong.
He is a fellow member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and is recognized by ANZIIF as a Certified Insurance Professional. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with the University of Hong Kong and a Graduate Diploma of Insurance awarded by Deakin University, Sydney.
Manager, Casualty & Financial Lines
Jeremy has six years of experience. He embarked his legal career with local and international law firms before joining us as a Financial Lines Underwriter in 2016. Prior to this appointment, he specialised in Commercial Law spanning across insurance, maritime and international trade.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree with the University of Liverpool, and is a member of the Law Society of Singapore.
Senior Manager, EB/WICA/Personal Lines
Sherman has over 16 years of experience in Accident & Medical Underwriting, Field Distribution, Business Development, Direct Sales Management, Training and Marketing in the Life and General Insurance Industry.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (with Business) degree and a Diploma in Life Insurance (SCI). His other SCI certifications include General Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance and Life Insurance (Investment-linked Insurance policies).
Assistant Manager, Casualty/Technical
Alex has over seven years of experience in Treaty Underwriting. He has held responsibilities across the region and various classes such as Property, Engineering and Casualty. Prior to his appointment, he was a Property Facultative Underwriter with Samsung Reinsurance.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with National University of Singapore, and an advanced Diploma in Insurance awarded by The Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).
Manager, Property & Engineering
Jeffrey has over 12 years of working experience, with over five years in the property insurance industry. He was a Loss Adjuster with Cunningham Lindsey before he joined AIG. Jeffrey’s last held position with AIG was a Property and Energy Senior Underwriter.
He holds a Master’s in International Construction Management and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He is an Associate member of The Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).
Assistant Manager, Motor
Andrew has five years of experience working in the insurance industry holding positions in similar capacity in Motor and Personal lines.
He holds a Bachelor of Business (Management) with Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT), and a CGI certification in ComGI, BCP and PGI.
Director, Marine & Client Relationship Management (Korea Market)
Moonkee has over 20 years of experience within the Marine insurance sector in Korea, undertaking roles in management, insurance underwriting and claims specializing in Cargo/Hull, as well as Casualty and Engineering. Prior to this, he was the Head of Marine & Channel Management with ACE American Fire & Marine Insurance Company in Korea.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Myongji University, as well as a qualification for Technical Insurance Practice issued by the Chartered Insurance Institute, which is equivalent to CII Diploma. He is also a certified Loss Adjuster by the regulation of Article 144 (Para 2) of rules for operation of Insurance Supervisory Regulations issued by the Insurance Supervisory Board.
Director, Marine (North Asia Market)
Larry has 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, holding various senior underwriting and management roles with a specialty focus on Marine insurance classes. Mr. Kwok began his career as a Marine Trainee in the claims department of Jardine Insurance Brokers, where he gained knowledge in a wide-range of disciplines including Cargo, Hull, Port and Terminal, and Freight Forwarder Liability. He then joined the world's biggest P&I Club at that time as a Claims Executive where he further enhanced his Marine knowledge particularly in the liability related areas for Ship Owner, Freight Forwarder, and Port and Terminal Operator. Mr. Kwok started his underwriting career in 2004 by joining Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited as Deputy Marine Manager. He then became the Marine Manager of ACE Insurance Limited for the Greater China region where he was responsible for the profitable growth of the Marine portfolio and instrumental in drafting and launching the Freight Forwarder Liability Policy. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Kwok was the Managing Director of SART Specialty Limited, heading the overall operation by providing technical Marine underwriting and business development leadership to the team for the Asia Pacific region.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Transport and Logistics Management at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. He further obtained his Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from Manchester Metropolitan University and pursued his Master of Laws (LLM) in Maritime and Transportation Law stream at City University of Hong Kong. He is a Senior Associate member of The Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
Director, Marine Hull & Liability
Rosa has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, holding senior underwriting and management roles with a specialty focus on Marine insurance classes. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Tan was the Vice President, Underwriting of the Overseas Assurance Corporation Limited, heading the Marine Hull section by providing underwriting and business development leadership to the team. She also spent 13 years as the Assistant General Manager, Marine of QBE Insurance (International) Limited, Singapore Branch. In this role, Ms. Tan was responsible for the underwriting and business development of the Marine portfolio for the company’s Singapore and Asia regions. The first 20 years of her career were spent in Marine insurance broking, 17 of which were with Aon Risk Services Singapore (Insurance Brokers) Pte. Ltd. She last held the position of Senior Manager at AON, leading the Marine Hull Broking and Claims team, before leaving the broking sector and starting her first underwriting career at AXA Insurance Singapore Pte. Ltd.
She holds a diploma in Management Practice and a certificate in Management Studies with the Singapore Institute of Management. She is also a Certified Insurance Professional with Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), and a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
Senior Manager, Marine
Tricia has over 20 years of industry experience handling Marine underwriting, insurance broking and portfolio analytics roles. Her specialty focus is on Marine underwriting for all classes of Marine Hull, Marine Cargo, Marine Liabilities and Protection & Indemnity for the Asia region; including portfolio management for new and existing accounts and regional referral in technical underwriting issues for delegated Asia countries.
She holds a Bachelor of Business (Insurance) degree with Nanyang Technology University (NTU). She is also an Associate member of The Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).
Senior Manager, Marine
Esther has 18 years of industry experience mainly in Marine underwriting, handling all classes of Marine Hull and Liabilities. Prior to this appointment, Esther was holding similar role in QBE Insurance (International) Limited. She also spent over four years with a local broker, L.C.H. (S) Pte Ltd, handling broking, client servicing and claims handling mainly for their marine-based clienteles.
She holds a diploma in Risk & Insurance Management, and is an Associate with Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), and Singapore Insurance Institute (SII).
Chong Ai Mei
Ai Mei has over 16 years of industry experience with four years of underwriting Marine risks, mainly on Hull and Cargo. Prior to this appointment, Ai Mei was the Marine Hull Underwriter with QBE Insurance. She started her insurance career with an international broking house handling Marine broking and client servicing.
She holds a diploma in Risk and Insurance Management and is an Associate member of The Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).
