Environmental in the Community: Lord’s Pantry of Downingtown Adopt-A-Family Program

The holidays are a perfect time to reflect on our blessings and seek out opportunities to better the ones around us. As a special way to give back to the community and spread holiday cheer, Great American Environmental took part in the Lord’s Pantry Adopt-A-Family Program.

Lord’s Pantry of Downingtown is a non-profit organization currently serving over 700 registered families by providing a daily supply of essential food products. Celebrating 50 years of service to the community, their mission is to prevent suffering from hunger by providing nutrition information, food and basic assistance to those in need. Throughout the years, Lord’s Pantry of Downingtown continues to offer a variety of special programs for families around the holidays.

This year, by participating in the Adopt-A-Family program, we successfully collected funds for 15 families to receive gifts during the holiday season! We extend our sincere appreciation to all of the volunteers and staff at Lord’s Pantry of Downingtown.
