Great American Insurance Group hires Greg Kelder to lead the Environmental Division’s Claims Department
Great American Insurance Group’s Environmental Division has appointed Greg Kelder as vice president and manager of its claims department to work with and support the specialized environmental claim situations of the division.
Kelder is based out of the Exton, Pennsylvania office and joins Great American from Chubb/ACE in Philadelphia, where he was vice president of claims with responsibilities including claims training coordinator, environmental portfolio leader and participant on the corporate environmental product board. He further developed the department and practice for that unit in the Philadelphia market. Kelder earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers, the state university of New Jersey. He is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, holding a master’s degree in environmental science and policy form. Leveraging Kelder’s substantial experience, the Environmental Division will continue to expand its ability to support brokers and their clients. Kelder will lead a team of claims attorneys while coordinating closely with corporate claims. He will report to the president of the division and serve on its leadership team.
