An accelerated leadership development program specifically for high-achieving graduates. During a two-year period, gain first-hand knowledge of your assigned business and various functions within that business. Placement after the program period is determined by the needs of the business, coupled with your strengths and interests.
Claims Trainee Program
This is an intensive eight-month program that develops the skills necessary for a successful claims career. Complete several business rotations to both learn the claims function and meet claims professionals across the Company. In addition to the practical hands on experience, there is an emphasis on professional development too. Learn the many aspects of the claims role, with access to claims leadership to provide a knowledgeable and supportive network.
Underwriting Trainee Program
A six to nine month program that develops the skills an insurance underwriter requires for a successful career in underwriting. Complete several business rotations to learn to review and evaluate risks and exposures for various types of business and to determine appropriate classification and pricing methodologies. Work with experienced underwriters and claims adjusters to learn the various functions related to underwriting, applying their knowledge throughout each rotation.
For each trainee program, eligible students will have proven leadership skills through extracurricular activities, internships/co-ops or work experience, superior communication and analytical thinking skills. The minimum GPA of a 3.0 is required for the Underwriter and Claims Trainee Programs.
