With almost 50,000 injuries every year in the Equine industry, pomi covers lessons, training, therapeutic riding, camps, horse shows and events*. With a competitive commission structure, signing up is easy, and the pomi portal allows you to click and bind in just minutes. Pomi is also available through the agent portal. How is pomi different from the med pay afforded in the AgriPak® policy with AgriBusiness®?

Pomi is designed to be a no-fault Insurance that is in excess of an individual's health insurance but can also be purchased as primary. As you know, the AgriBusiness® Farm Liability form affords $10,000 in med pay, but this is often not enough in the event of an Equine-related injury. Coverage from pomi can allow you to write limits up to $100,000 automatically or up to $300,000 with further underwriting information provided.

Tack equipment coverage

Tack is now offered as an optional coverage for tack equipment owned by the insured or belonging to others in the insured’s care, custody or control. Coverage is provided without having to list equipment to be covered and insurance is given up to the selected limit for covered tack equipment in any one loss event. A deductible of $500 applies to any one loss. 

Coverage includes the following:

• Replacement cost without deduction for depreciation, subject to the applicable limit of insurance.
• All risk coverage is subject to the exclusions specified in the tack equipment coverage form.
• Worldwide coverage, including while in transit.
