Ms. Chong Ai Mei is the Assistant Director, Head of Marine Southeast Asia Market of Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In her role, she is responsible for leading the underwriting and portfolio management of the Marine business across Southeast Asia, supporting revenue growth and portfolio profitability.

Ai Mei has more than 23 years of experience in the insurance industry, including over 10 years specializing in Marine underwriting with a focus on Hull and Cargo risks. Prior to joining Great American, she was a Marine Hull Underwriter with QBE Insurance Singapore. She began her insurance career with an international insurance broker, where she was responsible for Marine broking and client servicing.

Ai Mei holds a Diploma in Risk and Insurance Management and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

Ms. Ice Shing is the Assistant Director, Head of North Asia Market of Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In her role, she is responsible for leading the underwriting and portfolio management of the Marine business across North Asia, supporting revenue growth and portfolio profitability.

Ice has more than 12 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in Marine underwriting. Prior to joining Great American, she was a Marine Underwriter with SART Underwriting Limited. She also spent three years with Kiln Hong Kong Limited, underwriting Marine Cargo business and has extensive experience working in the North Asia market, including six years based in Hong Kong.

Ice holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) degree, majoring in Risk Management and Finance from the University of Hong Kong. She has also obtained the Advanced Diploma in Insurance and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

Mr. Terence Yong is the Assistant Director, Head of Specialty Lines (North Asia and Korea) and Cyber (Asia) of Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In his role, he is responsible for leading the underwriting, portfolio management and business development of the Financial, Professional & Executive Risks and Cyber portfolio across Asia, supporting revenue growth and portfolio profitability.

Terence has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry across both underwriting and broking, specializing in Management Liability, Professional Liability and Cyber insurance. Prior to joining Great American, he held senior underwriting and portfolio management positions with several international and local insurance companies, where he was responsible for underwriting strategy, portfolio development and business growth.

Terence holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics) degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He has also obtained his Certification in General Insurance and is a Certified Cyber Insurance Specialist.

Mr. Ernest Heng is the Assistant Director, Head of Specialty Lines (Southeast Asia) of Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In his role, he is responsible for leading the underwriting, portfolio management and business development of the Specialty Lines portfolio across Southeast Asia to drive profitable growth and support the strategic development of the business in the region.

Ernest has more than 15 years of experience in specialty insurance, financial lines and regional broking operations. He began his insurance career with AIG in underwriting. Prior to joining Great American, he held senior leadership positions with Willis Towers Watson, Marsh and Aon, specializing in Financial, Professional & Executive Risks and overseeing complex regional placements across Asia Pacific.

Ernest holds a Bachelor of Science (Second Class Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of London. He is an Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors and holds multiple professional certifications in General Insurance from the Singapore College of Insurance.

Ms. Tan Huay Chin is the Assistant Director, Distribution of Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In her role, she leads the Underwriting Team within the Distribution Division and is responsible for driving profitable growth, strengthening intermediary partnerships, and overseeing underwriting excellence across the portfolio.

Huay Chin has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with extensive expertise in marine underwriting, business development, and broking. She has built a strong track record in Marine Cargo Insurance, successfully developing profitable portfolios and driving sustainable business growth. Prior to joining Great American, Huay Chin served as Head of Marine Underwriting at Great Eastern General Insurance, where she led strategic initiatives to grow the Marine portfolio and strengthen client relationships. She also held a leadership position at AXA Insurance, managing a team of Marine underwriters and contributing significantly to the expansion and development of the Marine business.

In addition, she has actively conducted marine underwriting and technical training programs for distribution partners and clients, demonstrating her commitment to knowledge sharing and professional development within the industry.

Huay Chin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Certificate in General Insurance from the Singapore College of Insurance.

Ms. Quek Li Har is the Senior Manager, Head of Property & Engineering (Property & Casualty Underwriting) of Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In her role, she is responsible for managing and underwriting the Property & Engineering portfolio within the Broker channel, supporting revenue growth and portfolio profitability.

Li Har has more than 31 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in Property & Casualty underwriting. Prior to rejoining Great American, she was the Senior MidCorp Underwriting Manager at Allianz Insurance Singapore. She has also held underwriting positions with Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, Great Eastern General Insurance, AXA Insurance and NTUC Income, with experience spanning both commercial and personal lines business.

Li Har holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Mathematics and Statistics, from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, British Columbia. She has also obtained her Certification in General Insurance.

Mr. Ng Choon Haur is the Manager, Distribution (P&C Underwriting) of Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In his role, he is responsible for managing and underwriting the Property & Casualty portfolio within the Agency and Financial Adviser channels, supporting revenue growth and portfolio profitability.

Choon Haur has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in Property & Casualty underwriting. Prior to joining Great American, he was a Senior Underwriter, Commercial Lines at Etiqa Insurance and previously served as Assistant Underwriting Manager at Liberty Insurance, where he was responsible for underwriting and portfolio management across various commercial insurance lines.

Choon Haur holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & Environmental Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University. He has also obtained his Certification in General Insurance.
