Q: How did you get into insurance?
A: Through a good friend of mine. Started at Allstate and was asked if I was willing to do it. Then, Beth (Leaird) happened to meet my husband and asked if he knew anyone who knew about horses, and he said, “Yes, my wife!” And I’ve been here ever since!

Q: How long have you been in insurance?
A: 27 years.

Q: What is your favorite part of being a Master Underwriter?
A: Relationships with the agents!

Q: What is your favorite part of being at Great American?
A: It’s a really good company to work for, and I’ve enjoyed everyone I have worked with. Just an all-around good environment to be in.

Q: What is your favorite farm animal?
A: Horse.

Q: Do you have any skills and talents that most people don’t know about?
A: Highly competitive tennis player! And I love to draw!

Q: What is #1 on your bucket list?
A: Traveling with my husband.

Q: What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
A: Snake! It does not taste like chicken!

Q: What’s your favorite holiday?
A: Christmas.

Q: What would be your personal motto?
A: Live, love and tell everyone in the moment because life is too short.

Q: What is it that you think someone doesn’t know about you?
A: I was at one time on the board of a thoroughbred rescue organization, Final Furlong.
