From the Executive Team

Welcome to our third newsletter! We were pleased that, after practicing our business continuity plan for a couple of years, we were able to transition to work from home almost seamlessly.

In this edition, we welcome Bill Stanczak to our team as an Underwriting Specialist. He has relocated from Lexington to Ocala and we are happy to have him here.

We are delighted to be rolling out the IVANS edocs data download soon. This means we will have the ability to download policy documents to your agency system. The pilot has started, and we have many agents signed up already. We are also working with the mortality division to coordinate those agents who have contracts with both divisions, in order to eliminate duplicate work to the agency. Finally, we are pleased to be going paperless as we know this will save you a lot of money on postage, and it will cut down on the man-hour cost in moving these documents into your system. If you happen to have an insured that demands a policy in paper, we will be happy to print as an exception.

Since the COVID-19 Pandemic has placed us in uncharted territory, we are handling each issue, moratorium and state request as they come. We want to keep you well-informed, but please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected], Jeff Cruey at [email protected] or your underwriter if you have any questions or concerns. We are also available via Zoom if you or your staff would like to meet to discuss coverages, products or anything else on your mind. Just shoot us an e-mail and we can schedule a meeting.

We are in this together and appreciate your continued support. We know that you have other markets in which you could place your business, so we can’t thank you enough for trusting us with your insureds.

Stay safe and thank you,
