Chong Ai Mei
Assistant Director, Marine SEA
Ms. Chong Ai Mei leads the Marine Underwriting for Southeast Asia of Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the management and underwriting of the Marine portfolio in Southeast Asia to ensure revenue and profitable growth.
She has over 23 years of industry experience with more than 10 years of underwriting Marine risks, mainly on Hull and Cargo. Prior to this appointment, Ai Mei was the Marine Hull Underwriter with QBE Insurance. She started her insurance career with an international broking house handling Marine broking and client servicing.
Ai Mei holds a Diploma in Risk and Insurance Management and is an Associate member of The Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).
