Mr. Terence Yong is the Assistant Director for Specialty Lines Underwriting of Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In his role, he is responsible for the overseeing, managing and underwriting of the Financial, Professional and Executive and Cyber Risk under the Specialty portfolio in Asia to ensure revenue and profitable growth.
Terence has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry across both underwriting and broking specializing in Management and Professional Liability and Cyber insurance. He was previously attached to various large international and local insurance companies as a senior underwriter and portfolio manager.
Terence holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics) degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He has also obtained his Certification in General Insurance and is a Certified Cyber Insurance Specialist.
