Singapore Branch Leadership Team

Mr. Er Jun (EJ) is Head of Marine Major Market Division at Great American Insurance Company, Singapore Branch. In this role, he leads the Marine Major Market business and oversees underwriting strategy, portfolio development, and business growth initiatives. He works closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO to deliver marine insurance solutions that support the company’s strategic objectives across Southeast Asia.

EJ has more than 20 years of marine insurance experience, including Hull & Machinery (H&M), Protection & Indemnity (P&I), Cargo, Builders’ Risks, Marine Liabilities and other specialty risks across underwriting, broking, and business development. Before joining Great American, he held marine-focused leadership roles with Lockton, MS Amlin, and Allianz Commercial, where he developed extensive expertise across a broad range of marine risks and market segments.

Throughout his career, EJ has developed strong business relationships, grown portfolios, and delivered practical solutions for clients in the complex global trade environment. His technical expertise and regional market knowledge enable him to provide strategic guidance and effective risk management support to business partners.

EJ holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Singapore Management University and is a Chartered Insurance Broker accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute.
