We are excited to announce the addition of Becky Marrero and Leslee Cruz to our team at Great American Ocean Marine. Joining in October 2024, they are part of our Business Development Team, reporting to Keith Blair. Becky and Leslee have extensive experience in the ocean marine industry, specializing in Shipper’s Interest and Freight Services Liability.

Becky has over 30 years of experience as a Senior Broker and Manager, while Leslee brings valuable skills as a broker, underwriter and administrator. Their expertise will help us expand our presence in the Cargo, Trade and Logistics market.

We are thrilled to have these seasoned professionals on board as we continue to grow and offer bespoke solutions in the trade and logistics space. Becky and Leslee are based in the greater Miami, FL area.

We are proud to share that our Marine Cargo book continues to grow robustly, reflecting our strategic market approach and commitment to exceptional client service. By understanding the unique needs of our brokers and delivering tailored solutions, we solidify our presence as a trusted collaborator in the marine cargo space. Our growth is fueled by strong industry relationships, staying ahead of market trends and enhancing our offerings to address evolving challenges.

Our success includes products like Transit Only, Stock Throughput, Shipper’s Interest and Freight Services Liability. We also selectively write Excess Stock placements. While we can deploy $25M in capacity, our sweet spot is $15M and below. We often quota share business with peers, leveraging resources and expertise to manage larger or more complex risks. This collaborative approach mitigates risk and fosters industry cooperation, ensuring we meet larger business needs without compromising financial prudence.
