We Have a Division For That

Crop

The first crop policy was issued by Great American in 1915. Since then, Great American’s Crop Division has provided crop insurance products that help ensure that a client’s revenue stream will not be hindered by worst-case scenarios. The federally reinsured Multiple Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) is just one of the products offered. MPCI insures against disease and weather-related disasters. The Named Peril programs are also a part of the crop offering and are unique and varying. Included in our family of Named Peril products is Crop Hail, which provides spot-loss protection against damaging hail or fire.

Cyber

The Cyber Risk Division is focused on providing stand-alone cyber insurance solutions to companies and organizations in the small-medium enterprise (SME) space, which they define as under $500 million in revenues. Their principal offerings include both primary (admitted and surplus lines) and excess products (follow form), each at up to $5 million in limits. The Cyber Risk team has deep experience, not only in cyber but also in many of the segments where it is cross-sold. Examples include technology errors and omissions and municipal risk pools. They are currently pursuing cross-marketing opportunities with other divisions that sell various limited cyber enhancements at modest limits (up to $250,000) as an extension to their core offerings. Products are available nationwide and are distributed by retail agents and wholesale brokerages.
