Chris Hurley Promoted
Chris Hurley has been promoted to Divisional Senior Vice President. In this expanded role, Chris will assume reporting responsibility for both Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, in addition to his current management role in Mid-West, Residential Construction and Excess Property.
Chris began his career with Great American in 1998 as a trainee in PDC’s Underwriting Training Program, after which he spent four years in Alternative Markets before joining Property & Inland Marine’s Claim Department. In 2012, Chris transitioned back to underwriting, joining the Alabama territory. In 2014, Chris returned to Cincinnati to manage the Ohio Valley Region and the National Cargo profit center. In 2017, Chris was promoted to Divisional Vice President and assumed responsibility for the Mid-West profit center. In 2020, Chris expanded his reporting responsibility with the addition of Residential Construction and Excess Property.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Bowling Green State University. He holds several insurance-related designations including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM), Associate in Claims (AIC) and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS).
