Ocean Cargo
The GAIC Ocean Marine Cargo Policy provides coverage for physical loss or damage to cargo while in transit on a warehouse-to-warehouse basis —includes transits by all modes of transport (sea, land, and/or air).
Inland Transit
The GAIC Ocean Marine Cargo Policy can be extended to provide coverage to cargo beyond the port—covering goods in transit over land (truck, rail).
Warehouse Cargo
The GAIC Ocean Marine Cargo Policy can be extended to provide coverage to cargo when taken out of the ordinary course transit and placed in storage as inventory – this is referred to as a Stock Throughput Policy.
Marine General Liability
Covers third-party bodily injury, property damage and advertising injury arising from marine-related operations.
Terminal Operator’s Legal Liability
Covers legal liability for damage to cargo, vessels, or third parties while in the care, custody, or control of a terminal operator including ownership, use and maintenance of the equipment used in the terminal.
Stevedore’s Legal Liability
Covers liability for damage to cargo and vessels during loading/unloading operations.
Wharfingers Legal Liability
Covers loss or damage to vessels, their equipment, cargo, freight, and other interests while moored at your wharf, landing, dock or pier.
Contractor’s Equipment
Covers the physical damage to equipment and tools both owned and rented which are used for maritime operations.
Piers
Covers the physical damage to a dock, wharf or pier from both human made and natural causes.
Hull & Machinery
Protection for owned, chartered, and operated vessels, including physical damage to the hull and the machinery attached to the vessel.
Pollution Liability
Coverage for cleanup costs and third-party claims resulting from accidental pollution events emanating from vessels and maritime operations.
