Expanding Environmental Coverage into Mexico
Great American’s Environmental Division has expanded into Mexico through a new collaboration with Great American’s División Daños Mexico, bringing Premises Environmental Liability coverage to the market.
The Premises Environmental Liability policy helps protect businesses against the financial impact of pollution events, including bodily injury, property damage, legal expenses, and cleanup costs tied to covered locations. Designed for a broad mix of risks, this coverage supports everything from real estate portfolios and hospitality properties to medical offices, light manufacturing operations, and warehouses.
This expansion is designed to give businesses in Mexico access to tailored environmental protection supported by Great American’s underwriting expertise. Policies are underwritten by El Aguila, Compañía de Seguros, S.A. de C.V., an AM Best “A-” (Excellent)-rated carrier, indicating the strength behind the coverage.
For brokers and clients operating in Mexico, it’s another step toward more accessible, comprehensive environmental coverage options in a growing and evolving risk landscape.
