Conference Connections and Collaborations – Building Stronger Business Relationships

The experts at Great American recognize that face time with our brokers is crucial in cultivating strong, lasting business relationships. Meeting with our brokers helps us better understand our brokers’ needs, strengthen collaboration, and align our team’s efforts to be even more customer-focused and service-oriented. Our team always looks forward to meeting with brokers and industry attendees at various conferences and industry events, because at Great American, relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

Looking back at the summer and fall seasons, our team had the chance to travel not only across the U.S. but also into Canada to meet with our dedicated brokers. Our team recently attended the WSIA Annual Marketplace, the Target Market’s Annual Summit, the IRMI Construction Risk Conference, and hosted our Canadian-based brokers at the annual Great American Cross-Marketing Happy Hour earlier in the summer.

To wrap up summer and finish off conference season, Great American’s Cyber, Environmental, Executive Liability, FCIA Trade Credit, Fidelity / Crime, Ocean Marine, Professional Liability, and Property & Inland Marine collaborated to host Toronto-area brokers for an enjoyable happy hour in downtown Toronto.  

Gathering more than 8,400 attendees annually, this conference brings various insurance professionals together to network. Divisional Vice President of National Underwriting, Heather Boyd, and Production Underwriting Supervisor, Erin Mitton, traveled to San Diego to meet with our brokers in attendance. 

Bringing together more than 1,500 program business professionals, Target Markets unites program administrators, carriers, and service providers for a packed three-day agenda of networking and educational sessions. Divisional Assistant Vice President and Head of Communications, Kelsey Hill, and Production Underwriting Supervisor, Erin Mitton, traveled to Scottsdale, AZ to meet with our brokers and potential new brokers.

Collaborating with Great American’s Specialty Construction and Property and Inland Marine groups, Divisional Vice President of Specialty Underwriting, Kirk Davenport, Senior Production Underwriter, Ryan Kuhn, and Production Underwriter, Ireland Harrison, will be traveling to Indianapolis to meet with our construction brokers and clients.
