Ringmasters of Innovation and Teamwork: A Recap of Great American Environmental's Offsite Retreat
Keeping with the division’s collaborative approach, members of our division recently gathered in Malvern, PA, for our annual offsite outing. Team members spent two days participating in team building activities, learning from leadership about current trends and upcoming opportunities, and bonding with other members of the division.
On the first day, teammates participated in a dialect game, where we debated the “right” way to say words and phrases, giving us a healthy dose of debate and bonding folks from across the country. We also engaged in a fun carnival event, where individuals walked around to different booths that featured industry and company knowledge, good business practices, and new trends, such as AI. We also got to participate in fun games such as plinko, cornhole, putt putt, and ladder toss. Things were kept light, fun and collaborative while we also learned important new information related to our careers and business.

The second day included a collaborative volunteering event, where we built bikes for children in need. Each group was left to their own devices with only basic instructions, fostering collaboration and teamwork. We also brought back a favorite event from last year: The Great American Game Show. Hosts posed questions about anything and everything, from environmental-related topics to relevant pop culture news.
Overall, this year's retreat was a resounding success, filled with engaging activities that fostered collaboration, learning, and fun. From debating dialects and exploring industry trends at carnival booths to building bikes for children and competing in the Great American Game Show, every moment was designed to strengthen our team and enhance our knowledge. The leadership Q&A roundtables and team meetings provided valuable insights and direction for the year ahead. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the country and look forward to continuing our journey together, armed with fresh perspectives and renewed enthusiasm.
