Putting People First: Excellence Through Expertise and Collaboration – A Note from Leadership, Kelsey Hill

Mid-Year Update & Looking Ahead
More on Day of Learning

Our annual in-person Day of Learning was designed to strengthen expertise, elevate service and build meaningful industry connections. By welcoming environmental insurance professionals, including both our underwriters and emerging brokers, we aim to support well-rounded, informed collaboration that ultimately benefit your clients.
This year's sessions focused on:
- 2026 industry trends
- Managing site risks
- Litigation trends
- General liability gaps
- Building strong broker-carrier collaborations
Throughout the day, we emphasized collaboration by bringing together experienced mentors and early-career professionals to share insights, ask meaningful questions and learn from one another.
A sincere thank you to our speakers for sharing their knowledge and expertise. We also extend our thanks to Shelley Bartram and Emily Thomas, for organizing the event, and to Heather Boyd and BobbiAnn Murphy for their support with content development and execution. Their efforts made the day a success.
We’re proud of how this event continues to grow and look forward to building on its success in the years ahead.
Service As Our Differentiator
While we offer industry-leading environmental coverage, what truly sets us apart is the depth of service behind it. Our team brings expertise across underwriting, technical environmental issues, risk management and claims and delivers support that extends well beyond any one function.
Our service philosophy is reflected in the strengths that define our approach:
- Responsiveness and accuracy that provide timely, reliable answers
- Technical expertise that elevates decision-making and builds trust
- Thoughtful, personalized claims handling
- Risk engineering insights that help clients prevent losses
- Commitment at every stage—from first submission to final resolution
Together, these qualities create clarity in complex situations, confidence in decision-making and a level of collaboration that continues well beyond policy placement.
Strengthening Relationships in 2026
We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to expanding our outreach through additional city visits across the country. If you see your city on the map, we encourage you to reach out to schedule time with us. If not, let us know, we’re always looking to plan future stops.
In the coming months, we’ll be visiting South Florida, Chicago, Toronto, Seattle, Vancouver and Minneapolis. If you’re in any of these areas, we’d love to connect.
Traveling to meet with brokers remains one of the most meaningful parts of what we do. Strong relationships and genuine trust drive our work, and there’s no substitute for hearing directly from you.
Everything we accomplish starts with you. Your expertise, creativity and collaboration help us deliver the high-quality service and products we’re proud of. We’re grateful for the year so far and excited for what’s ahead.
Sincerely,
Kelsey Hill
