Best-in-Class Training for us and YOU!

Best in class training

The evolving work environment caused by the pandemic has shifted the paradigm on how industries need to approach training. In the ongoing transition to a more hybrid and virtual world, seeking and supporting internal talent as well as continuing to support the growth of our brokers has come with its own hurdles - environmental insurance is no different.

Internal Training  - More than just a tagline

Starting Off Strong

At Great American, we value corporate and division culture, committing ourselves to the support and development of our new teammates, so they can succeed. The learning and development journey starts on Day 1 with tailored onboarding curriculum plans equipping new members with the necessary knowledge and skills to understand the tasks at-hand and provide the level of service and expertise brokers expect from Great American.

What does this look like? The Environmental Division has hybrid and virtual learning available using a variety of educational modalities including small group discussion sessions, webinars and on-the-job learning experiences. In addition to onboarding sessions, the Environmental Division provides further growth opportunities by having structured job support programs. Through our coaching and mentoring programs, new members share experiences and lessons learned to enhance knowledge and skills in their roles. Not only does this upskill our members, but it also fosters collaboration and builds relationships.

“The training efforts put forth by the Division have been second to none. I’ve experienced first-hand how Great American really focuses on developing its employees with comprehensive and custom onboarding plans. I find everyone here to be great resources for questions, and while everyone is certainly busy, they'll do what they can to help.”
